A Taste of Christmas 2018 @ Taste G Cafe, G Hotel

It's the time of the year, malls and hotels are putting up decorations, not sure about you guys but I am already starting to feel the jolly vibes kicking in to my favourite season of the year. 

Welcome to early Christmas!

This year in conjunction to this festive season, happy to be invited by G Hotel Gurney's team to join them for their seasonal buffet at Taste G Cafe.

1. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Buffet Dinner at RM180 per adult and RM90 per child        Add on RM75 to enjoy free flow beer and wine 
2. Christmas Day Set Lunch at RM125 per adult and RM65 per child
For appetizers, you will find nicely plated cold cuts. Their air-dried beef with melon and smoked fish are some of my personal liking
Oyster Au Gratin (basically baked oyster with cheese) is just something I could not resist!   The only thing I went for three servings.

Prawns, yabby, scallops, bamboo clams
Sashimi: Salmon and butterfish

Roasted vegetables (beets & pumpkin are simply yummy!), feta cheese, shrimp cocktail and potato salad.

Christmas themed is never complete with a good ol roasted goodness.
Taste G features Turkey, Meatloaf, Roasted Lamb & Beef Ribs at their carving station this year.
Should you prefer celebrating Christmas in the comfort of home, takeaway their freshly roasted turkey with the stuffing filled with roasted chestnut, chipolata, aromatic onions along with cranberry sauce and gravy for only RM399.

Flew in all the way from our neighboring country, Indonesia, the lava stone (not your usual charcoal) BBQ grill are used to produce succulent meat and seafood.
Do not miss their chorizo and slipper lobster on this counter!  Credits to the chef, the skillfully grilled ingredients are good to go with a dab of thousand island.  

If you've read my previous posting featuring G Hotel/ G Hotel Kelawai, you must know that I always repeat the same statement and I have to say it again.
"No matter how full you're always leave some room to indulge in their desserts which are prepared by award winning pastry chefs!"
Chocolate Yule Log paired with vanilla custard cream is one of the feature dessert selection specially prepared to add to the Christmas mood.
